All meat is processed in USDA or State inspected faciltities, vacuum-packed and flash frozen to preserve quality during transit. Product is shipped in insulated boxes with either dry ice or frozen gel packs. Product should arrive frozen or partially frozen. Freeze or refrigerate immediately upon arrival.
For best quality, use within 9 to 12 months. However, if kept frozen (at 0° or lower) continuously, it will be safe to eat indefinitely. (usda.gov)
